INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 5, 2014 – Geofeedia, the pioneer in social media intelligence that enables public safety, corporate security groups, marketers and media companies to gain real-time, actionable intelligence through hyper-local social media monitoring, today announced that it has opened an office in Indianapolis and has hired two former ExactTarget leaders to help lead the company into its next stage of growth. The new office will allow Geofeedia to increase its team to better serve an expanding customer base throughout the Midwest.

The Indianapolis office is located in the heart of the city’s Monument District on the seventh floor of the iconic Circle Tower building at 55 Monument Circle. The 2,000 square foot office joins existing operations in Chicago and Naples, Fla.

Wes Antrobus joins Geofeedia as its vice president of sales and R. J. Talyor joins as vice president of product management. Both new team members were instrumental in growing ExactTarget to over $400 million in revenue, which led to the company’s $2.5 billion acquisition by Salesforce in 2013.

R. J. Talyor is a product and strategy leader who joins Geofeedia after ten years at ExactTarget where he oversaw the email, mobile and landing page product lines. Talyor previously served as the vice president of messaging products.

Wes Antrobus brings more than ten years of marketing and sales experience to his new role at Geofeedia. During his six-year tenure at ExactTarget, Antrobus served in various leadership roles, most recently responsible for leading the 60-person North America marketing organization focused on demand generation, strategic partnerships and go-to market efforts.

The company closed a $3.5M Series A round of financing earlier this year led by Hyde Park Venture Partners to significantly expand its team, to further accelerate its rapid revenue growth and to invest in the continued development of its patented SaaS software platform.
